SAM QIAN ZIXIN'S
PERSONAL PORTAL

Hello! I'm Sam Qian Zixin
I'm a high school student at Yew Wah School of Shanghai, and if you ask me what my main deal is, I'd say it’s building things—and building people up. I spend most of my time knee-deep in robotics, but I also love rolling up my sleeves for community development and, when I need to clear my head, you’ll find me on the volleyball court or the soccer field.
How they all come together
It's funny how all these parts of my life—the methodical logic of coding, the empathy of teaching, and the raw grit of sports—all feed into each other. Robotics gives me the technical lens, community work gives me the human purpose, and sports give me the mental resilience to keep going when things get hard.

My goal isn't to build the most complex machine; it’s to understand how curiosity, hard work, and good teamwork can solve any problem—whether it’s making a robot see better, helping a child code their first line, or winning that crucial, final point. I'm excited to keep learning, keep building, and keep sharing what I discover along the way!

Join the Global Mission: Let's Build Something Together
I’ve talked a lot about my own projects, like Code Spark, but the truth is, the biggest problems need bigger teams. I believe curiosity is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. That’s why I’m looking beyond my school and city. If you’re a student, a teacher, or an organization anywhere in the world who sees a need—whether it’s bringing coding to your local library or teaching seniors how to video call—I want to team up. Let’s stop thinking local and start acting global, because the best solutions are built when diverse perspectives collaborate.
To my fellow high schoolers and young leaders: this is your call to action! Maybe you’re great at graphic design and can help us make the next Code Spark curriculum look awesome. Maybe you speak a language we don’t and can help us translate our tech guides for a new region. We're looking for fresh ideas for everything: designing new, low-cost STEM kits for kids, creating simplified manuals for teaching tech basics to older generations, or even hosting a synchronized, worldwide virtual fundraiser. Whatever your skill is, if you have the drive to make a difference in your community through education and tech, let’s connect our dots and amplify our impact.

For organizations, foundations, and businesses: if you are passionate about fueling youth-led social innovation, we need your partnership. Our projects are designed to be scalable and sustainable, focusing on minimal resource requirements and maximum community reach. We don't just ask for funds; we ask for strategic support: mentorship from industry experts, access to broader networks, and resources that help us turn one small workshop into a repeatable, open-source model. Sponsoring our next initiative means directly investing in the future generation of empathetic engineers and ensuring that crucial STEM and digital literacy skills reach the places that need them most.

Robotics taught me that innovation starts with the humility to admit what you don’t know and the persistence to learn it. Collaboration is the ultimate expression of that humility—it means recognizing that someone else, somewhere else, holds the missing piece. I’m excited about the possibility of working with brilliant minds from every continent. Whether you have a fully formed project pitch or just a spark of an idea, please reach out. Send me an email, connect on LinkedIn, or simply drop a note. Let’s start a conversation about how we can merge our skills, share our purposes, and build something truly meaningful together.
