Hello! I'm Sam Qian Zixin
I'm a high school student at Yew Wah School of Shanghai, and if you ask me what my main deal is, I'd say it’s building things—and building people up. I spend most of my time knee-deep in robotics, but I also love rolling up my sleeves for community development and, when I need to clear my head, you’ll find me on the volleyball court or the soccer field.
How they all come together
It's funny how all these parts of my life—the methodical logic of coding, the empathy of teaching, and the raw grit of sports—all feed into each other. Robotics gives me the technical lens, community work gives me the human purpose, and sports give me the mental resilience to keep going when things get hard.

My goal isn't to build the most complex machine; it’s to understand how curiosity, hard work, and good teamwork can solve any problem—whether it’s making a robot see better, helping a child code their first line, or winning that crucial, final point. I'm excited to keep learning, keep building, and keep sharing what I discover along the way!

I’ve talked a lot about my own projects, like Code Spark, but the truth is, the biggest problems need bigger teams. I believe curiosity is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. That’s why I’m looking beyond my school and city.
